Supper Idea

Shepards Pie

December 14, 2017

Do you need a supper idea tonight and you like casseroles, try this easy recipe.

1 lb ground turkey

approximately 5-7 small potatoes

frozen corn (I used frozen green beans as a replacement because my husband can not have corn)

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Paprika to taste

Parsley to taste

Preheat your oven at 375 degrees F.

Peal and cut your potatoes into pieces and boil. When soft, drain and mash and season with salt, pepper, and parsley.

While your potatoes are cooking, Brown your ground turkey in a pan. When cooked, place the ground turkey into a casserole dish. Layer with your vegetables, and top with your mash potatoes. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika.

Place in the oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until potato is golden brown.

Serve with or without gravy, rolls or biscuits, and a tossed salad if you wish.
