My mission is to provide you with inspiration and encouragement to live everyday to it's fullest. I do this by sharing the simple things in life such as recipes to the most difficult of things such a life. We all know life is a struggle and many days a balancing act, but I am here to inspire you to do it well. Everything I write about is designed to inspire as well as encourage you to be a "better" you that you can be. Everything I share is raw and real. I do not cover up or sugar coat what I write about. This would benefit no one. My goal is for you to walk away feeling uplifted and encouraged after leaving my page. Lastly, I am here to remind you that you are… enough and beautiful… just the way you are.

Today’s Encouragement is to remind you how important you are.
Do you question your value or your worth?
Do you struggle with the difficulties life offers?
Do you ever question, if this is how life is going to be, then why did God create you?
My Friend, I am here to remind you God doesn’t make mistakes.He created you with a specific purpose, one which is specifically unique to only you. He knows what you can handle.
This is why no matter how familiar your story could be to someone else, it is still only yours, uniquely yours.
God reminds us in Jeremiah 1:5 that,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Today’s gentle reminder is that you are not a surprise to Him. Your circumstances are not a surprise to Him. He knew you and what you would be doing long before He created you.
My Friend, find peace today in the assurance that if God brought you to your pain or crisis, He will bring you through it. He created you for this situation. Nothing is a surprise to Him.
Be encouraged My Friend. God will strengthen you today and will provide you a peace that passes all understanding.
Accept His grace to conquer your battles and rest in His peace today.
Breathe today My Friend! You’ve got this. Walk in the peace and assurance today that God is with you. You are not alone because the same God who formed you in the womb is the same God walking with you through this storm.
I am a wife, mom, and daughter. I served in the United States Army, went to college, received a Batchelor's Degree in Criminology, homeschooled my daughter every year from start to finish, and now I am currently a daycare teacher's aide (soon to be a two-year-old teacher coming this fall).
I married my husband when he was in the United States Army so I have the unique knowledge of what it is like to be on both sides of a Military uniform.
While we were stationed in Germany, my daughter, who is 24 years old now, was born and I made the difficult decision to put my career on hold to be her mom.
The past 20 years have been wrought with many struggles but as a result of those struggles, this blog was created.
As the years passed and the struggle kept coming, I would say, "I'm not sure why we have to go through all of this, but if we have to then it is my desire to allow my story to serve as a means of encouragement to others so all this pain isn't for nothing."
The years passed and the struggles did not. However, I feel now is the time God wants me to share these stories of hardships with the hopes they provide encouragement to you if you are struggling in the same way. It is my prayer they will serve as a healing opportunity for you.
I want you to know you are not alone. There are others who know where you are and what you are feeling.
Cling to the hope this won't last forever and that God is standing beside you while He holds you up and dries your tears. He is showing you the way, you just need to follow Him.
