Pumpkin Whole Wheat Bread

This is a great bread to use for any purpose. It is considered a sweet bread and usually made during the holidays, but if you enjoy pumpkin you can have it any time of the year.



3/4 c Canned Pumpkin

2/3 c Water

1 Tbsp Margarine or soft butter (I have also replaced with coconut oil)

2 c Bread Flour

1 c Whole Wheat Bread Flour

1/4 c Packed brown sugar (I have replaced with raw white sugar)

1 1/2 tsp Salt

3/4 tsp Pumpkin Spice (Either liquid or dry spice works)

1 3/4 tsp Bread Machine Yeast


Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by manufacturer.

Select Sweet or Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crus color. Remove baked bread from pan and cool on wire rack.
